Review: The Moon Embracing the Sun
“The Moon Embracing the Sun” is a 2012 South Korean
historical television drama series, starring Kim Soo-hyun, Han Ga-in, Jung
Il-woo and Kim Min-seo.The series is according from the best-selling novel of
the same name written by Jung Eun-gwol. It directed by Kim Do-hoon
and Lee Seong-jun. The main actors are Kim Soo Hyun and Han Ga In.
The story is about after the King of the Joseon Dynasty meets the shaman named Wol (meaning Moon) there goes a series of romantic love story. According to legend" The Moon Embracing the Sun ", in a country can not have two sun and two moon, the sun represents the king, the moon represents the queen, if there are two, it must live only one, the state will be messy. I really want to see this drama, because it is has Kim Soo Hyun starring, Kim Soo Hyun is a good in acting star. Crown Prince Lee Hwon in childhood is a very active person, Prince Lee Hwon meet Thirteen-year-old Heo Yeon-woo by chance. They fall in love. Heo is chosen as the Crown Princess of Joseon. Because of the conflicts and conspiracy of vying political powers, Prince Lee Hwon lost Heo Yeon-woo.
Eight years later, Lee Hwon meet a shaman named Wol who has a face just same as Heo Yeon-woo. This is Ga-in's first historial drama. The evil queen orders head shaman Jang Nok-yeong of Royal Star Mansion (Royal Astrology House) to cast a spell on Heo Yeon-woo to death. But the head shaman Jang saved Yeon-woo. As Yeon-woo loses her memories, the head shaman Jang change Yeon-woo personality as a shaman Wol. Prince Yang-myung is the elder brother of the prince Lee Hwon. Prince Yang-myung falls in love Heo Yeon-woo first. He can sacrifice everything for love Although Prince Yang-myung also loves Heo Yeon-woo, neither Heo Yeon-woo nor shaman Wol also choose Prince Lee Hwon as lover. Prince Yang-myung sacrifice himself to protect Prince Lee Hwon as the world cannot have two suns, and Prince Yang-myung also wants to end up his complex triangular relationship.

Yoon Bo-gyeong in order to be Crown Princess of Joseon successful, jealous and hurt Heo Yeon-woo, although she success to became Princess of Joseon, Prince Lee Hwon didm’t treat her as wife as he didn’t forget his lover Heo Yeon-woo. In the end, Yoon Bo-gyeong become madness and suicide, disappear one moon, therefore it just left one moon only. Heo Yeon-woo have an elder brother named Heo Yan, Heo Yan is a very talent and handsome person, and everyone fall in love with him. Cloud was Lee Hwon's loyal bodyguard at a young age is already a knight, superior martial arts, he is the first Knight in that time, the palace of the people think he is handsome. I like to watch him, but he seldom appear and have a little actor’s lines only, as his character is quiet and cool person.
There were some funny scenes that Lee Hwon likes to tease Cloud. Snow was Heo Yeon-woo loyal maid and guardian has been with her all these years, always protecting Heo Yeon woo. In the end, Unfortunately, Snow dead when she was protecting Heo Yeon woo’s brother, Cloud is too late save them. Finally, in the end, Crown Prince Lee Hwon and Heo Yeon woo married and happily together.

《拥抱太阳的月亮》是一部2012年浪漫爱情古装剧，根据韩国同名原作畅销小说改编而成，由金道勋指导拍摄，主要演员有李暄-金秀贤饰，和巫女月-韩佳人饰。剧情讲述一段“国王”遇见“巫女”之后的一系列浪漫爱情故事。

演员韩佳人首次演古装剧，韩佳人饰演巫女月和许烟雨一角，在剧中儿时的她遭到坏人所害，而有一位巫女长救了许烟雨，把许烟雨起死回生，由于许烟雨失去记忆，巫女长就顺其自然将许烟雨换成巫女月，以保住许烟雨的生命。最终许烟雨恢复记忆，和王世子李暄在一起。阳明君-丁一宇饰，是李暄同父异母的哥哥，李敏豪苦情的他也爱上了巫女月，为了爱情可以牺牲一切东西，最后竟然以死亡结束了一些事故，原因有两个，其一是不能有两个太阳，也就是李暄和阳明君，阳明君牺牲自己，其二是了断复杂的三角关系。宝镜为了顺利要当世子嫔，心生嫉妒而伤害了许烟雨，虽然成功成为世子嫔，但只是有名无实的夫妻，因王世子根本无法忘怀许烟雨，最后宝镜因心虚发疯而自杀去世，消失一个月亮（宝镜），而剩下一个月亮（许烟雨）。许炎是许烟雨的哥哥，样貌出众，英俊潇洒，而且是个难得的人才，我喜欢林时完演饰少年的许炎，真的很俊俏。
很喜欢看忠臣--云，他是李暄的贴身护卫，年纪轻轻已经是武状元，武艺超群，有朝鲜第一武士之称，宫里的人也觉得他很帅。很喜欢看王世子调戏云时，很好笑。有时候发现为何只有李暄一人漫步时，其实云是在远远监视保护着李暄，一有什么东西，云很快出来保护李暄。有时候云夹在李暄和阴阳君论语之间，不知站在那一边，不知如何是好的样子很可爱下，不过还是站在李暄那边。可惜云的戏份很少，话也不多。雪是烟雨的守护者，一直女扮男装陪伴在烟雨的身边，可惜最后也为了保护她喜欢的炎而死去。最后，李暄和许烟雨有美满的家庭和国家。
